Textures

Okay I didn’t take this photo today. This photo was from earlier in the month when I was out geocaching. This is part of the trail around the oceanographic center. I love the texture of the rocks and the rings being used to hold the rocks in place.

The price of gas has dropped this week. I hope the trend continues. I didn’t even notice the airplane in the background when I took the photo.

Day 100

Tuesday was our 100th day of school. It is hard to believe how quickly the year is passing. This is the cake that Rachel’s mom made to help us celebrate this special day.

My college roommate gave me my first Precious Moments figurine many years ago. I have continued my collection throughout the years. I love the faces on the children.

This morning we took our second graders to the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. We all had a great time at the circus. This photo was from the finale when all the performs returned for a final bow. I loved the colors in this shot.

It’s Wednesday so I stopped to take a picture of the gas sign at the Parker’s down the street. At least the price has dropped from last week. i hope this is a trend that will continue.

This fire station is across the street from my work. This morning as I drove by, the firefighters were checking out the truck. It’s great to know that we have men and women who are willing to risk their lives to help protect us.

This morning I headed out with friends to go geocaching. We spent the day walking trails and hunting caches. We were unsuccessful at our first four sites, but ended the day with two finds. As we walked trails and climbed over branches and trekked through bushes it was hard not to think about how great God is!
